What To Talk About On Your First Date

It’s always hard to know what to talk about on your first date. That is why I am here offering some first date advice. Here are tips on what not to say on a first date and also tips on what to talk about on your first date.

Ideas On What To Talk About On Your First Date:

* It’s normally a safe bet to talk about family on your first date. Find out if he/she is very close to their family and about their childhood.

*  Talk about your career, what you’re doing now and what you have done in the past.  Ask him/her about their careers.

*  Talk about current events, what’s going on locally or nationally.

*  Reveal your likes and dislikes. Tell him/her your interests and ask them the same. This helps to get to know each other faster and if you will be a good match.

What Not To Say On A First Date:

*  Do not talk about anything negative. Stay upbeat and positive.

*  Do not say you’re ready to get married and have kids.

*  Politics are off limits.  It is best to avoid emotional topics to stay clear of a sparring match.

*  Never talk about your ex unless they ask but keep it short and simple.

*  Do not ask him/her if they want to come over to your place after the date.
